Lord, when you set boundaries, when you say no… You see the real in people come out & masks fall off. ~Those same ones who claimed 2 love you, promised 2 be there… called you Sis, best friend or Bae… & pretended to care (as long as you were “caring for them”), etc. I hold myself accountable for this as well. People will only do to you what you allow them to do. So, Yes! They will use you as long as you’re “Transactional”… then will leave you on the side of the road like a rock; when you’ve been theirs… #Repeatedly ~These same people will play in your face, never hold themselves accountable, aren’t appreciative, are disrespectful & won’t even say “Thank you.” I had 2 post this 4 my “Givers” b/c takers will continue 2 take, lie & use you. You have 2 Love yourself enough to say no. You feeling like you don’t want 2 feel used again is enough for you to walk away. (You know the truth by the way it feels). In this season, I’m holding myself accountable and I’m sharing truth simultaneously. I know what my calling is. You deserve someone who truly cares, won’t let you feel any other way but concerned for & will lead w/ prayer & protection on all levels. Pray for my mind, heart, body, soul, business, family & goals… Protect my mind, heart, body, soul, business, family & goals… (Instead of competing w/me, pray w/me not on me). I’m the type you go to war FOR, not against. For those “friends” who do the same. Release them too. Everyone in your circle isn’t in your corner. Some can’t stand to see you #Win even though they pretend. I’ve left a few… had to. I can’t tell you how much peace you’ll have when you release that which doesn’t care about you, but only cares about you when you’re doing something for them. God has more, greater & better for you.
