Replacing deck boards due to termite and rot damage. I had to do some patchwork on a deck that already had a lot of previous patchwork. 😮 As you can see, whoever installed the original deck didn’t line up the boards and seams! 🤦🏻 At some point the entire deck will need to be replaced, but for now, it just needs to be safe for my client and his puppy. That’s the quote we got to replace our wood deck boards with composite, add skirting around the deck (to replace that terrible plastic lattice), and install a new railing (with a drink ledge 🍺). Lucky for us, my Dad knew we could get the job done—and at a fraction of the cost.
