Inspiration 2.0 . I recently shared this video and a huge number of people were inspired by the choice of this man to work hard despite his limitations instead of resorting to easier pursuits. A few others criticised me for making a video instead of helping him. I encouraged people to help him only by buying stuff from him and not offering free money of carrying his cart (I think it may cause his self-respect harm). Moreover I’ve reached out to some organisations who provide prosthetic limbs to deserving people with special needs. I’ve also located the guy and got his contact details and soon will be meeting him inshallah

به نظرت خانواده‌ها مقصرن یا بچه‌ها؟ درسته که بعضی از خانواده‌ها، فرزندان‌شون رو تحت فشار می‌ذارن و می‌خوان بچه‌ها شبیه به خودشون زندگی کنن اما واقعیت اینه که خانواده‌ها مقصر یا بد نیستن، فقط روش صحیح برای ارتباط موثر با فرزندان‌شون رو بلد نیستن🌱 ‌ ‌ اما چطوری می‌تونیم ارتباط موثر و سالمی با فرزندان‌مون داشته باشیم؟ 🔹 1. گوش دادن فعال: وقتی فرزندت چیزی میگه، بهش توجه کن. وسط حرفش نپر، نصیحت نکن، یا قضاوتش نکن. بذار بدونه که حرفاش برات مهمه🌱 🔹 2.همدلی و درک: خودت رو جای فرزندت بذار و ببین دنیا رو چطوری می‌بینه. اگه ناراحت یا عصبانیه، بهش خرده نگیر بلکه سعی کن بفهمی چرا این احساس رو داره. وقتی فرزندت احساس کنه که درکش می‌کنی، بهت نزدیک‌تر میشه. 🔹3. اجتناب از قضاوت و سرزنش: محیطی برای فرزندت فراهم کن که بتونه بدون ترس از قضاوت و سرزنش، حرف‌هایی رو که توی دلشه باهات به اشتراک بذاره و بهت اعتماد کنه🌺 🔹4.احترام به تفاوت های شخصیتی: هر کدوم از فرزندان ما، یه شخصیت منحصر به فرد دارن. یکی ممکنه خجالتی باشه، یکی دیگه اجتماعی. یکی ممکنه عاشق نقاشی باشه و یکی دیگه عاشق ورزش. والدین باید این تفاوت‌ها رو بپذیرن و بچه‌ها رو همون‌طوری که هستن دوست داشته باشن. 🔹پذیرش تفاوت‌های نسلی: دنیا خیلی سریع تغییر می‌کنه و چیزایی که توی دوران بچگی ما مهم بودن، شاید الان دیگه معنی نداشته باشن. درک این موضوع و قبول تفاوت‌های نسلی کمک می‌کنه که به جای بحث و جدل، بچه‌ها رو بهتر بفهمیم✅ پس اگه می‌خوای ارتباط موثری با فرزندانت داشته باشی، به جای اینکه او رو سرزنش و قضاوت کنی و توی چارچوب‌های سخت‌گیرانه قرار بدی، سعی کن دنیا رو از دید او ببینی مهربون🌷 ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌#نوجوان #خانواده ‌#ارتباط_موثر #تربیت_فرزند #خانواده_موفق #شاهین_فرهنگ

Someone, somewhere along the line needs to teach us how to handle our own emotions. Emotional regulation is not a skill we are born with. And yet every single one of us is born with emotions! Why aren’t we teaching this to our kids as a priority? Why isn’t it taught in schools as a priority? When so much conflict arises from a lack of communication, someone being stubborn, someone insulting or hurting another due to their own pain or fear, why don’t we see that as a direct result of not learning how to handle our own emotions? This is why I’m such a huge advocate for emotional intelligence. Our kids are not going to learn this on their own, their brain literally doesn’t have the connections for emotional regulation for many years. So what are we left with? My suggestion, and what is backed by the research on emotion, behaviour, psychology etc is that we start with ourselves. Start developing your own emotional intelligence and the ripple effects will do the rest. It's not comedy anymore... What once played as exaggerated humour in Aadu now feels deeply unsettling in hindsight. At the time, that scene and its “naatu shaili” dialogues made people laugh. We enjoyed it without thinking much. But today, when we see elected leaders openly resorting to crude language, intimidation, and verbal abuse toward the very people they are meant to serve, that laughter feels misplaced, even irresponsible. What we once laughed at now looks disturbingly real. When leaders talk down to people as if they own them, it shows how badly power is being misused. No matter how big a leader is, or how much they have done in the past, it never gives them the right to insult the very people who put them in power. Now today people casually joke that these incidents can be added to Aadu 3. That itself says a lot. It shows how normal public humiliation has become. What is being treated as comedy is actually a reflection of how some in power see the public, as people who can be spoken to in any manner. That mindset is not humour; it is arrogance. Why should common people have to bear it? No matter how big these leaders are, or whatever they may have done in the past, it does not give them the right to insult the people who elected them. Whatever 'Naatushaili' they say, power is not a license to humiliate. Even back then, we were cheering scenes that closely resembled real-life figures who took pride in violence and intimidation. Comedy blurred into complicity. What we laughed at was not just a character, but an attitude, which shouldn't be entertained in real life. Today, when the same tone is heard in public speeches and casual conversations, the joke no longer works. What once felt funny now feels like a mirror held up to reality. A democracy has citizens, not slaves; representatives, not kings. Respect is not optional in a democracy. It is the foundation. Using energy on BS circuits like this is a complete waste. Get stuck into the weights room 2-3 x per week and lift heavy, that’s what every serious athlete does.
