I’m creating one to accompany my Dino dress, crafted from the same silk and adorned with matching embellishments. I got this one way back in November, but was so preoccupied by larping that I never documented it. Now that I'm packing for another regency larp and get to use this beauty again I wanted to show it off, because... Just look at it! These pineapple reticules were ridiculous in the best of ways, and I love that my friends knew how much I'd adore this. @annamarguerit knitted it, and @sewenth_heaven finished it with the lovely secretly embroidered insides. I have amazing people around me, and I count myself ever so lucky to get to geek out over historical things like this with people who get it. ♥️

Whenever I make a new costume I love to make it little matching accessories! I didn’t have any matching reticules so that’s what I set out to make this time! I self drafted the pattern (I’ll try to put up a picture that shows the size of the pattern later but the shape is basically 9 1/2” X 12”) I used silk taffeta for the inner and outer layers and metallic gold sequins and trim. I wish I had a gold tassel to add at the bottom but no such luck in the stash. Because it was machine sewn (except for trim and sequins) this was a super fast and easy project!
