Okayyyy! You asked for it (some of you more politely than others) and (three and a half months later) I delivered — here is my walkthrough of this spectacular, frozen-in-the-fifties, time-capsule kitchen MINUS the vertigo-inducing sped up footage and transitions. Never let it be said I don’t listen to my followers! To this day, this kitchen remains one of the most beautiful I’ve ever toured. It’s been truly untouched since 1958, with vintage robins-egg-blue appliances (and matching counters!) and a truly shocking amount of hidden features including a dumbwaiter, a tucked-away accordion door, a cavernous spice cabinet, pop-up appliance shelf, and sooo much more. Here are some closeups of the kitchen, including our larder, which I don’t think I’ve shown before 🤔 The cabinet is American, approx 1870 which we purchased from @ilfalconelondon. We fell in love with it and decided not to update the paintwork as it was glorious!
