Create a Risograph effect in Photoshop🎨 📎Place your elements where you want the colors to cross. 📎Convert your image to a smart object. 📎Go to filter gallery and set the halftone pattern size to 2 and the contrast to 40. 📎Set the grain intensity to 40 and contrast to 50. 📎Go to adjustments, threshold and set the level to 168. 📎Now, add a new solid color and experiment with blend modes on your layers. 📎Add a texture layer to make the result even better. How to make a photocopy effect in Photoshop! (colored version) Go to the Filter Gallery and select Grain. I went with Intensity 64 and Contrast at 50. Add another filter by clicking on the + button down in the right corner and add the Torn Edges from the Sketch section. I went with Image Balance on 25, Smoothness on 13 and Contrast at 11. Add a solid layer and paint it red. Now add blur on this Solid by going to Filter > Blur and select Gaussian Blur. Mask the layer with the Solid and Gaussian Blur, decrease the opacity of the layer and you also can change up the blend mode to Dissolve (optional). Now make sure to click on the mask thumbnail on your Solid layer and then select the Brush tool, make sure the brush is on black color and now you can paint/ remove the color from the eye area. Most digital design looks fake because it’s trying to simulate texture instead of understanding it. Texturing isn’t about adding filters.
