If you would’ve told me 5 years ago that I’ve taken my own raft down my favorite river multiple times I’d laugh! Although I grew up rafting it wasn’t something I saw myself doing at the extent that I have these past three years.. & man am I so happy I’ve had these amazing experiences!! Ive crossed off so many bucket list items this year, from rafting the Colorado river for 21 days in the Grand Canyon.. then floating the Grand salmon, the Middle fork salmon, main salmon, and the lower salmon river all back to back! & Another middle fork trip I just got off of, and going back out in august on the main with some of you guys!! & I can’t wait!! Floating down the river 1.5 hours from Melbourne - add this to your summer plans! ☀️🤭 I felt like the biggest kid when I went river tubing with @warburtonadventureco, spending 2 hours floating down a section of the Upper Yarra River near Warburton! 🛟 We were driven 3km up the river from where we parked our car, given a paddle, a strong and sturdy river tube and left to have a relaxing time as we made our way down the river back to the car! ☺️ We found ourselves manoeuvring around obstacles, navigating rapids, going for swims, bumping into each other and having a whole load of laughs 😅 Things to note: - Just under 1.5 hours from Melbourne CBD - Journey begins at Warburton football oval where you park your car - They can look after your car keys while you’re on the water! - Closed toe shoes or water booties are recommended - You need to be able to swim!
