Me and my chunky partner in dine, Biggie, rolled into Round Table Pizza in Silverdale like two knights on a quest for carbs and glory — and brother, we found both. The smell alone had us acting unholy. We kicked things off with the Garlic Parmesan Bread Twists, and I swear those buttery ropes of joy could bring peace to nations. Each bite was a perfect mix of crispy, garlicky heaven and soft doughy middle — the kind of thing that makes you close your eyes and whisper “damn.” Then came the heavy hitters: a large Maui Zaui and a large Montague’s All Meat Marvel. One bite of that sweet pineapple and ham combo and I was sunbathing naked in Waikiki. The All Meat Marvel? That thing was stacked like a protein power move — pepperoni, sausage, and every form of meat the Lord invented. And the Garlic Wings? Oh, those bad boys hit with flavor and crunch — messy, saucy, and absolutely worth the extra napkins. Round Table pizza was made for the thicc and the hungry. My pizzas are not always perfectly round (all pizza is beautiful and delicious), but this is my approach for getting them as round as possible. A round pizza starts with a round dough ball. Here’s how to achieve roundness nirvana: • Ball after bulk fermentation Let your dough ferment first, then divide and shape into tight balls for the final proof. • Build tension when balling Pull the dough into itself and seal the bottom. A tight ball = controlled shape later. • Proof in a controlled space Use a container dusted with semolina or cornmeal so the dough keeps its shape. • Don’t grab it with your hands Use a dough spatula to remove the dough cleanly. • Reset the shape early Dunk in semolina and gently round it back out before stretching. • Start in a round container (optional, but powerful) A plate or bowl helps lock in that circular shape from the start. • Stretch with intention Work evenly - either opposite sides at once or move in a full circle. If you stretch randomly, you get random shapes. • Final stretch on the peel Use two fingers underneath and stretch evenly one last time. ⸻ Think circle at every step - not just the end.
