I’ll take a micro adventure to see a waterfall 260 feet underground over a noisy arcade anyday! It’s my kid’s winter break and I wanting a fun activity where we could be in nature together, but without dealing with the possibility of a rainy or cold February day. Ruby Falls in Chattanooga is more of an attraction than a hike, and you do have to purchase tickets, but getting to see stalactites, stalagmites, and huge cavernous walls in person is such an awe inspiring experience! I’m always trying to make nature seem like the coolest most beautiful place to be for my child and this is was a successful in that goal! #rubyfalls #waterfallhike #caveexploring

We visited Luray Caverns and just walking through the caverns felt like stepping into another world. Towering stone formations.�Dim lighting.�Winding underground pathways that make you slow down and look around. And then we reached this underground wishing well — and it completely caught us off guard. Ok last two days and we had the BEST time! Checked out Cumberland Gap and got to stand in 3 states at once. It was just a beautiful day for a quick hike. And @gorgeunderground was definitely the HIGHLIGHT of the trip! Our tour guide was amazing and we had the best time! Such a unique experience! Had to hit up a @bucees and his last request of this trip was to check out Jungle Jim’s International Market and it was literally the COOLEST!
