A Saudi political analyst on Al Jazeera said the US has moved its advanced air defense systems (like Patriots and THAAD) from Gulf countries to help protect Israel, leaving bases in the region more exposed to possible Iranian missiles and drones. This happens as Iran has carried out retaliatory strikes on Saudi Arabia, UAE, and others since late February, following recent US-Israeli operations.
