This video is gold! A FULL step by step tutorial on how I taper a jacket with no lining! This method would be applied to almost all jackets even with a lining, you’d just repeat the same steps on the lining and to get into the inside you would seam rip a seam in the lining of the sleeve or center back to get inside. How to crop a jacket ? A few days ago, I decided to shorten a jacket I had for a while. I found it too long and the cut less modern. Here’s how I went about it: First, I measured the desired length. Then, I unpicked the pockets. I marked the length with pins, both front and back. And then, it was time to sew. I made sure to take my time. And here’s the result. What do you think?
