Easy sandwich bread 🍞 3/4 cup warm water (between 100 and 110 degrees F) 2 tsp active dry yeast 1 tbsp sugar or honey 3 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp salt 2 tbsp olive oil 1 egg 350 for 30 minutes #easyrecipe #bakingrecipes #recipe #breadrecipe #bread

RZ Sandwich Bread Yield: 1 standard loaf Ingredients 1 1/2 to 2 cups warm water about 105°F - 110°F warm, not hot 2¼ tsp active dry yeast or 1 packet 2 tbsp honey or sugar 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter 1 1/2 tsp salt 3½ cups all-purpose flour or half AP + half bread flour for extra chew (plus more as needed) Directions • In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, combine the warm water, yeast, and honey/or sugar. Stir gently and let sit for 5–10 minutes, until the mixture becomes foamy and activated. Stir in the salt and oil. • To a large bowl, add the flour and pour in the yeast mixture. Using a wooden spoon or Danish dough hook, mix until a soft, slightly tacky dough forms. • Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes by hand or 3–4 minutes using a stand mixer until smooth, elastic, and cohesive. • Place the dough into a lightly greased bowl, cover, and allow it to rise for 25–30 minutes, or until doubled in size. While it rises, grease a loaf pan and set it aside. • Once doubled, gently punch down the dough to release excess air. Fold the dough into itself, then transfer it to a lightly floured work surface and gently stretch it out. • Shape the dough into a loaf using a tuck-and-fold method, creating surface tension as you roll it into shape. Place the shaped dough into the prepared loaf pan, cover, and let rise again for 15–20 minutes. • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until the loaf is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped. • Immediately brush the top with butter or olive oil for a soft, tender sandwich crust. • Remove the bread from the loaf pan and transfer it to a cooling rack to prevent the bottom from becoming soggy. • Allow the bread to cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing. Chef notes for optimal flavor boost these are optional but so good • Swap ¼ cup water for warm milk=softer crumb • Add ½ tsp garlic powder or onion powder = savory sandwich loaf • Put aside extra flour for dusting and managing stickiness • Add 1 tbsp maple syrup instead of sugar = subtle depth Texture Notes • Soft enough for PB&J • Strong enough for grilled cheese • Doesn’t crumble like store bread #sandwichbread #homemadebread #fromscratch

My go-to sandwich bread 🍞 I added as much as I could in this caption, but have extremely thorough instructions on my website. It’s linked in my bio or comment SEND and we can dm you the link. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re intimidated by making yeast bread, this recipe holds your hand through the process! ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -1 cup (240ml) water, warmed to 110°F (43°C) -1/4 cup (60ml) milk, warmed to 110°F (43°C) -2 1/4 tsp (7g) instant or active dry yeast -2 Tbsp (25g) sugar -4 Tbsp (56g) unsalted butter, softened -1 and 1/2 tsp salt -3 and 1/3 cups (about 420–430g) all-purpose flour or bread flour, plus more as needed ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whisk water, milk, yeast, and sugar in the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with a dough hook attachment. Cover and sit for 5 minutes or until foamy. Add butter, salt, and 1 cup (125-130g) flour. Beat on low for 30 seconds, scrape down the sides of the bowl, then add another cup of flour. Beat on medium speed until incorporated (there may still be chunks of butter). Add the remaining flour and beat on medium until the dough comes together and pulls away from the sides of the bowl. If you do not own a mixer, you can mix this dough with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula. Keep the dough in the mixer and beat for an additional 5–8 minutes, or knead by hand. If the dough becomes too sticky during kneading, add 1 tsp of flour at a time. Do not add more flour than you need. Lightly grease a large bowl. Place the dough in the bowl, turning it to coat all sides. Cover and rise for 1-2 hours or until doubled. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Punch dough down. Flour a work surface and rolling pin. Roll the dough into an 8x15 inch rectangle. Roll it up into an 8 inch log and place in loaf pan. Cover and rise until it’s 1 inch above the top of the pan, about 1 hour. Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 32-36 minutes. It’s done when an instant-read thermometer reads the center as 195–200°F (90–93°C). Cool before slicing.

This is the ONLY Sandwich Bread recipe you’ll ever need!! Trust me when I say this blows store bought sandwich bread out of the water. I have made at LEAST a double, if not a triple batch for the last 4 weeks, sometimes throwing in a midweek batch. 🤣 (My coworkers are very happy😆) This is the simplest, fool proof recipe. *** Sandwich Bread 1/4 cup milk 1 1/3 cups water 1 tbsp yeast 1 tbsp sugar 2 tsp salt 1 egg 1/4 sup softened butter 4 1/4 cups flour Combine milk, water, yeast and sugar. Let rest 10 minutes. (You’re looking for bubbles and foam, if this doesn’t happen, your yeast is dead. 😵) -1/4 cup milk, 1 1/3 cup water, 1 tbsp yeast, 1 tbsp sugar- To the yeast mixture add remaining ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. -2 tsp salt, 1 egg, 1/4 cup butter, 4 1/4 cup flour Knead for 10 minutes, or until you have a soft, smooth dough. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. On a lightly floured surface, divide your dough into 2 equal portions (you’re making 2 loaves!!) Shape your loaves. Rolling and tucking seams along the way. Place into a greased loaf pan. Rise, 1 hour. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. (Internal temp 190° to 200°) Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before slicing! (This prevents the bread from being squished!) I’m so excited to share this recipe with you. I’ve been perfecting it for weeks. Feeding my family and friends. And they’re not sick of it yet! Let me know if you’ll try it! Remember, We can do hard things! **This recipe can easily be made lactose free by substituting lactose free milk and plant based butter! #sandwich #bread #recipes #homemadebread #freerecipes

You’re going to want to save this: The easiest sandwich bread: What you need: 1/4 C honey 2 C warm water 2 tsp instant yeast 1/4 C melted butter (Irish grass fed is the best) 2 tsp salt 5 to 6 C flour (Makes 2 loaves) Combine yeast, honey, and warm water in the bowl of a KitchenAid. Mix well and wait about 10 minutes until a foam forms. If it isn’t foamy, wait until it is. Add melted butter, salt & flour. Use the kneading attachment on the kitchenAid to knead the dough. (Just knead by hand if you don’t have a mixer.) The dough should pull away from the kitchenAid if using one and should be tacky but not sticky. If using your hands, it should get less sticky as you knead. Once it’s kneaded, cover with a damp warm towel and let rise for one hour somewhere warm. It should double in size. You may need to let it rise longer depending on the temperature of your kitchen. Once it has doubled, punch the dough down. This is the best part. 😂 Dump the dough on a floured surface and roll out. Cut in two and shape your loaves. (A good ole YouTube search will help you if you are a beginner and this part intimidates you.) Butter your bread pans and place your loaves in. Cover with a warm damp towel and let rise again for another hour. Preheat your oven to 360 degrees F and bake for 35-40 minutes. Let cool & enjoy!

No-Knead Soft Sandwich Bread, for sandwiches, toast, and beyond 🍞🍞🥪🥪🎉🎉 Friends, I’ve been making some sort of variation of this bread for about a year now. I’ve used olive oil in place of butter, all water, all milk, a little honey, a little sugar, and my family’s favorite version for sandwiches is this one, which calls for equal parts by weight milk and water, no sweetener, and melted butter 👍👍 It’s soft and sturdy, nicely sweetened but not sweet at all 🍞🍞 It takes no time to stir together and you can use more or less yeast depending on your time constraints. Find notes in the recipe on how to do so 🤗 For best results, use a scale to measure! 🙏🙏 Volume measures simply are not accurate. Homemade Bread ⬇️ Recipe below, or comment BREAD and I’ll send it over. Homemade sandwich bread tastes completely different from store-bought. It’s softer, fresher, and has that warm, comforting flavor that only comes from real ingredients. You can control everything that goes into it, which means no preservatives, dough conditioners, or unnecessary additives that help bread sit on a shelf for weeks. It’s also more nourishing. When you bake your own bread, you can use high-quality flour, natural sweeteners, and healthy fats. Ingredients ¾ cup warm water (100–110°F) 2 tbsp honey 2¼ tsp active dry yeast 4 cups all-purpose flour ¾ cup milk 2 tsp avocado oil or olive oil 2 tsp salt Olive oil or spray for greasing -In a small bowl, stir honey and warm water. Add yeast, stir, and let sit until foamy. -In a mixer or mixing bowl, add flour, oil, salt, and milk. Pour in the yeast mixture. -Mix until fully combined. Knead by hand or mixer until the dough is smooth and no longer sticky. -Lightly oil a bowl, shape dough into a ball, and place it inside.
