You laugh less, overthink more, and act chill even when your heart is screaming. Because let’s be honest this generation taught us that whoever cares less wins. That being attached is unattractive. That needy is a red flag. So we stay half-loved, half-healed, and fully exhausted. And we keep losing good people just because we’re too scared to show how badly we want to be loved back. But here’s what no one says out loud craving love doesn’t make you weak. It makes you human. Wanting reassurance doesn’t make you clingy it means you’ve been let down before. And feeling too much isn’t your flaw; it’s your honesty. You don’t have to keep proving you’re low maintenance to be kept. The right person won’t need you to be less just to stay. They’ll make space for all of it the messy parts, the overthinking, the soft heart, the need to be reminded you’re loved. Because real love doesn’t punish your hunger. It sits beside you and says, You don’t have to hide it anymore.
