🚨Denver scam alert 🚨 The courts here are warning about a pretty realistic scam making the rounds. To me it looks like the unpaid toll scam had a baby with the jury duty scam. It’s a fake court summons claiming you could have a warrant out for your arrest if you don’t pay tolls. It’s bogus. Unpaid Road Toll Scams: Scammers impersonate road toll services (E-ZPass, Sun Pass, FasTrak, etc.) and claim that an unpaid toll is due. Victims are usually contacted by text message or email containing a link to pay. However, the link opens a fake website designed to steal any personal or financial information entered by the victim.
