Today, we are grateful to share that all 220 registered children under our care have successfully gone back to school with every scholastic material they need. Schools officially resumed today, 15th September, across Uganda, and just like every term, we made sure none of our children missed anything—each received full supplies according to their class requirements. At Allan Children’s Foundation, education is one of our core objectives because every child deserves the freedom to learn without worry. While we’ve managed to provide the materials, the biggest challenge remains their school tuition, which is vital for them to stay in school without the fear of being sent home. Great is God for making this possible for our Children as we always do it every school term. As Allan Children’s Foundation we always give out all the scholastic materials ( books, pens, pencils, geometry sets etc ) to 150 Children under our care and also to over 200 Children in our community every school term. As we all know schools have been in a 3weeks holiday in Uganda and our children have a been in a short holiday without attending school. So schools resumed again in Uganda on the 16th of September 2024 and as Allan Children’s Foundation we had to give all the scholastic materials to our children so that they can be fully ready to start school. Together we can give the gift of life changing education to a child. We have a termly budget of $15,600 for over 120 children under our care who attend school each school term as they have 3 terms in a year. As we mentioned before this is our biggest challenge now, as it takes a lot to put children in school. School has just started and we still in need of school tuition and other supplies to keep our children in school so that they don’t chase them from school. Giving education to our children has been a challenge given that we are yet to have our own school which we are praying for. Given that every child gets a sponsor this would create more opportunities for other needy children. We all know that education is one of the best gift we can give to the children. To continue providing hope, love and prospects for the future we need sponsors like you. We are currently serving more than 150 children and we also reach out to hundreds in remote villages who are urgently in need of help whenever God provides more.
