🏅🇨🇦 Olympic excitement filled TCS this week! This week at TCS, our students caught Olympic excitement as the gym transformed into an Olympic course featuring bobsledding, speed skating, ski jumping, a ski lift, curling, and hockey - complete with medals, a podium, and plenty of Canadian pride 🇨🇦. Our Kindergarten classes visited each classroom to share Olympic facts and invite everyone to join a torch run. Yesterday, the entire school took part in passing the torch, ending with it placed beside our flag as we sang O Canada together. As a school community, we pray for our Canadian athletes competing at the Olympics, and we remind our students that while athletes compete to win a medal, we all run our race for God. ✝️🏃‍♂️

🏅 Let the games begin! Our Cahill Elementary School students kicked off their own Olympic celebration with a colorful Opening Ceremonies event that brought the energy and pride of the Games right into the school gym. Classes proudly “represented” countries from around the world, waving handmade flags, marching together, and cheering each other on. Along the way, students shared fun facts about the athletes from the different nations they studied. The day was filled with music, smiles, and teamwork, helping everyone feel connected while celebrating our global community. It was a great way to spark curiosity, build school spirit, and remind students that we all shine when we play together. 🌍✨
