So if you’ve been feeling like Instagram is just… → a carousel of the same 6 people → selling the same 2 courses → using the same 1 font let’s fix that. Because on this page... we are all about supporting artists AND giving you an experience The air smells like salt + fries. The pier lights are flickering like they’re on their last paycheck. And somewhere between “I should go to bed” and “one more scroll”… I wanted to help you find an artist who speaks to you. Like… phone-in-hand… volume-up… forget why you entered a room... So I’m doing what the algorithm refuses to do… I’m putting you onto artists who deserve to be heard Go discover someone... @prophylaxis_synths @echovoidmusic @memorydesignmusic @frequencyperformer @dominusluxmusic @neologisticism @sloenmusic @lyst.music @manhatten_synth @aisle9music And now… I need you to do a tiny bit of work (I know… devastating) 👇🏼 COMMENT + TAG ANOTHER PERSON: Pick ONE artist you discovered recently Tell us what they sound like in the most unhinged way possible Example: “____ sounds like neon rain + a ferry horn + a bad decision at 2AM.” And if you're an artist.. The pinned comment has the “how to get involved” stuff. Go cause a ripple. 🌊 ========================== #bladerunner2049 #bladerunnervibes #synthwave #synthwave #synthwavestyle

What's your go-to String Library? Composer Insights - Music connected to powerlevels: Here is another simple example of using dynamic music: In one of my past video game soundtracks for a game that was primarily about the classic loot spiral or expanding your power level / gear score, I linked the progression of the music to these factors. In other words: basically it was a classic score with all the necessary elements: tailored instrumentation for the areas, a main leitmotif that was linked to the main character etc - nothing wild. I wanted to add something “special” though & thought about the battle themes. Basically, they always act in the background and primarily serve to intensify the fighting - so here too. However, I composed 7 different intensity levels or variations of the 3 main battle themes - the trigger for the next & more intense version was the achievement of certain power levels/gearscore milestones. The classic power fantasy was additionally supported by the music. #nativeinstruments #orchestra #epicmusic #studiogoals #musiclife

Follow (us) @understandsongs to truly understand songs, “The Scientist” by Coldplay is a melancholic piano-driven ballad released in 2002 as the second single from the band’s album A Rush of Blood to the Head. Written by the band members and sung by Chris Martin, the song is built around a simple, emotive piano melody that gradually expands with soft drums, bass, and atmospheric guitar, creating a reflective and intimate sound. Lyrically, the song explores themes of love, regret, and the desire to undo mistakes in a relationship, with the recurring line “nobody said it was easy” emphasizing the emotional complexity of trying to fix what has already been broken. The title metaphorically refers to approaching love like a scientist—trying to analyze and understand it—while ultimately realizing that emotions cannot be solved logically. The music video, directed by Jamie Thraves, became widely recognized for its reverse-narrative technique, where the story unfolds backwards, revealing that the singer is retracing events leading up to a tragic car accident involving his partner. This creative visual concept reinforces the song’s central idea of wishing to “go back to the start” and undo past mistakes, making “The Scientist” one of Coldplay’s most emotionally powerful and iconic songs

Some songs have a way of speaking to you before you even realize it 🎶 From the very first note, they carry a certain energy and its not something you can explain with theory or logic—it’s something you feel✨ I don’t approach music just as a player; I approach it as a storyteller📖 When I create bass lines, I don’t think in terms of just holding down the groove or filling space. Of course, the technical side is always there, but that’s never the main focus🌟 The real essence of what I play comes from emotion—how the song makes me feel in that moment💕 I close my eyes, listen to the melody, the harmony, the rhythm, and I let my hands move instinctively🙂 Sometimes, the bass needs to be upfront, almost singing its own melody alongside the vocals or the lead instrument🎸Other times, it needs to be subtle, moving like an undercurrent, shaping the entire song’s feel without demanding attention☺️ Every slide, every ghost note, every pause in between the notes is just as important as the ones I play🙃 Music isn’t just about filling space—it’s about creating a conversation👩❤️👨 And sometimes, the silences, the breaths, the restraint say more than any flurry of notes ever could🥰 The best bass lines don’t come from overthinking or trying to impress—they come from a place of honesty, from fully immersing yourself in the moment and surrendering to the music🎼 Some songs demand complexity, speed, and intricate phrasing, while others need something as simple as one well-placed note that says everything👾 But no matter the approach, the goal is always the same—to serve the song, to make it feel alive👻 Recording and playing live feel like two different parts of my soul🎵 I love both💙 I had a great time recording on this song for @oosdarwin & @simonphillipsofficial and I cant wait to share the finished product soon! 🤘🏻 I get asked a lot about what I use for my recording sessions so here it is: @wearefocusrite Clarett+Pre @mayonesguitars Comodus Classic 5 @sitstrings .45-.125 @lkstraps Mohini Dey signature @fatcables Mohini Dey signature @jhaudio Roxanne For bookings & inquiries, send an email to [email protected]
