Three days into the new year, Roger Krone – CEO and Chief Scout Executive of Scouting America – had the privilege of attending an Eagle Scout Court of Honor (COH) in Annapolis, Maryland. On Saturday, January 3, Roger spoke with Harry E. from Troop 422, congratulating him and asking him to reflect on his journey to Eagle. Not only has Harry made incredible memories and lent a hand through Scouting, but he’s also learned leadership skills and grown in character, too. From coast to coast, kids – like Harry and even younger – are doing amazing things for their communities through Scouting. As we congratulate Harry, we simultaneously thank all Scouts for Doing a Good Turn, giving back and helping those in need. Cheers to active community involvement and all the young people who will achieve the rank of Eagle Scout in 2026!
