A Game a Day Until Christmas Day — The Polar Express 🚂✨ A fast-paced Christmas throwing + teamwork game that gets every class buzzing ⚡️ Each team stands on a cone with a hoop in front of them, and every team starts with one beanbag 🎁 Your aim? Land the beanbag in your hoop. If you score, sprint to the top of the hall, grab a hoop, and bring it back to add a new train carriage to your team 🚂⬆️ Place the hoop at the end of your train… then throw again from your new furthest spot 🎯 Every time you score, your train gets longer. When all the hoops are gone… the fun starts 👀 If you score from your furthest hoop, you’re allowed to steal a hoop from the team next to you, but only from the end of their train. low prep classroom games you can use to!!!! that’s not fair- write 5 prizes on the board. randomly pick a students name (popsicles work great have students write the answer to a question on their individual white board. check students answers and if the student who was randomly picked got the answer right, they write their name next to the prize they want. keep this going until your review is done. students can steal prizes from each other (if you have a class that can handle it four corners- post letters A B C D around the room. have students answer multiple choice questions. they will move around the room to stand next to the answer of the question. spelling bee or math fact races (great for multiplication and division facts for third grade hehe risk it- you will prepare index cards that have different point amounts on them (i did 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 0, go back to 0, double your points, -1, -5) hang these on the board with mini magnets so they points are not showing. break students into teams. have students work together to answer questions. each team will get a chance to answer a question. if they get it right, a team representative can go up to the board to pick a card and hopefully win points for their team. if game is called risk it because they can lose points or gain a lot!!!!! #marchmadness #classroomtransformation #classroomresources #classroommarchmadness #classroomgames

Western Day! You could play any day but we happened to be dressed up for CSW. I will include this game (and the sheep) in Volume 3 of my games pack. At the all school assembly we had three agile teachers compete. The students sat on the outside of the gym and I put tape on the floor for each pin. We had 5 sheep (beanbags) and off they went running around stealing sheep and finally one of our teachers got 3 sheep in his pen.
