Can you believe this tree weighs more than 10 blue whales 🐳 🌲 I and @modicumofjoy spent 3 days chasing snow in Sequoia National Park. We didn’t catch fresh flakes falling, but we did find these giants instead 🌲✨ Sequoias aren’t just tall — they’re unbelievably massive. The numbers don’t even make sense until you’re actually there. Over 1,500 tons of living wood. Thousands of years of history. Just… rooted. Standing next to one feels like meeting a living skyscraper made of wood and time. You feel tiny in the best way — quiet, grounded, and completely in awe. This isn’t just a forest stop. It’s a perspective shift. You HAVE to add this place to your bucket list. 🌲 📍Big Tree Trails, Sequoia National Park, California 🥾Easy flat hike 🎟️ $35 per car for US residents or free with National Park pass 🎥Video inspired by @aureliestory Thank you for 10M+ views 🥰🙏 ‼️DO NOT repost without permission. The President Tree is the oldest known living redwood tree on Earth estimated to be about 3,300 years old. It is also the second largest tree on the planet by volume (if branch volume is included with trunk volume). 🌲 Located in the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park, this incredible giant stands about 247 feet tall with a massive base and an enormous crown that spreads high above the forest floor. The tree’s trunk alone has an estimated volume of about 45,000 cubic feet, and when its enormous branches are included, the total volume reaches over 54,000 cubic feet. The tree was named in 1923 in honor of Warren G. Harding - the 29th president of the United States, shortly after his death, which is how it became known as the President Tree. The President Tree is especially impressive because of its huge crown, which contains some of the largest branches of any tree on the planet - many as thick as typical trees themselves. Scientists estimate the tree holds billions of needles and thousands of cones, making it like a small ecosystem high above the forest floor. While the nearby General Sherman Tree is the largest tree by volume, the President Tree remains one of the most majestic and awe-inspiring sequoias you can see in the park. 🌲 ✨Follow @adventurechasingduo for incredible outdoor adventures! 🙌 . . . . . #sequoia #sequoianationalpark #sequoiatrees #giantsequoia

The General Sherman Tree, located in Sequoia National Park, is the largest tree in the world by volume and one of the most awe-inspiring living things on Earth. 😌🌲 This giant sequoia stands about 275 feet tall and is estimated to be around 2,200 years old. What makes it truly remarkable isn’t just its height, but its massive trunk over 36 feet in diameter at the base, holding more wood than any other tree on the planet. Despite its age and size, General Sherman is still growing, adding more wood each year than any other tree alive today. 🤯 . . . . . #sequoia #sequoianationalpark #sequoiatrees #generalshermantree #hiking

i used to think adventure had to look a certain way—coordinated outfits, perfectly timed naps, and zero mess. but that version of motherhood was just another job i was trying to 'fix.' sequoia reminded me that the best moments are usually the least curated. 🌲 because sunny is a service dog, we were able to enter and explore together. he doesn't care about the 'aesthetic'—he just cares about my nervous system and gogo’s safety. having him by my side gave me the space to stop performing and start experiencing. sometimes letting go of 'perfect' is the only way to find 'peace.' 🐾🏔️ #servicedog #servicedogtraining #sequoia #sequoianationalpark

"History won't forgive us if we just sit back." — Gayatri Yadav, CMO at Sequoia India. She's not talking about grand gestures. She's talking about the quiet choice leaders make every day: to notice what they didn't personally experience, and act on it anyway. In parts of India, a woman working outside the home is still read as a sign that the family has fallen on hard times. That trope exists whether or not it touched your household. And if you have a platform and you do nothing about it, that's a choice too. Two hats. Your own experience. And the world as it actually is.
