the importance of set design: Building a unique world for a music video can really enhance the overall visual and narrative. To create this set, my production designer and I created a scale model of the set so we could get a full view of what the world will look like on the day, and get the exact measurements of the fabric to build the set efficiently. I really love what I do. Creating a set is like building on a blank canvas , what starts as an empty space transforms into a world, even if just for a day. It’s a fleeting moment, gone in the blink of an eye, living on only in our memories. Sets don’t build themselves, props don’t simply appear, and visuals don’t just happen. It’s never the work of one person, it’s a team. I’m incredibly lucky to create alongside some of the most talented and creative individuals.
