the key to long lasting hair ⬇️ ✨double shampooing ✨lathering the shampoo ✨rinsing out properly ✨ using the right shampoo for your hair type ✨conditioning just the mids and ends ✨scrubbing with tension ✨ not overusing products when hair is wet ✨blow drying with more of a focus on the roots #hairtips #haireducation #washday #hairstylist #ittakesapro

Shampooing once just removes surface dirt and oil, that's why the lather is usually minimal the first time. — But the second round? That's when the shampoo truly cleanses and lathers up beautifully! Double shampoo = cleaner scalp, longer-lasting freshness and better product absorption.

Here 👇 Stop shampooing your lengths Shampoo = scalp only Your lengths are already dry • You’re overwashing Too much washing strips your natural oils → makes your hair even drier Stick to 2–3x/week • Conditioner is not optional Every time you shampoo Focus on mids & ends • You’re not using a hair mask Dry, thick, wavy or curly hair needs deeper hydration Use a high-quality mask once a week • Stop touching your hair so much It creates friction → more dryness, more frizz — Do this → softer, healthier hair Less dryness. Better texture Follow for more.

Why Double shampooing? The first wash breaks down impurities, while the second cleanses the scalp directly. Use a small amount of shampoo each time, focusing on the scalp and rinsing well in between. 🗒️Double shampooing is best for those with oily hair, heavy product use, or in high-pollution environments. It is not usually necessary to do this daily. 🧴Choose the Right Shampoo: Consider using a clarifying or deep-cleansing shampoo for the first wash to remove buildup, followed by a nourishing, gentle shampoo for the second. 🧽Don’t Over-scrub: Massage gently; do not use heavy pressure, as this can irritate the scalp. 🎀Follow with Care: Use a conditioner on the ends, especially if you have dry hair, to avoid dryness #hairwash #haircare #hairhealth #hair

If you feel like bond repair treatments always weigh your hair down or make your hair feel stiff, brittle or heavy, try this sandwich method hack! You’re still double shampooing, just in a different order than normal. That way you can thoroughly remove buildup before applying and also remove some of the residue from the treatment that can cause your hair to feel weighed down if you don’t shampoo after. Keep in mind that this doesn’t apply to treatments like K18. This is a hack for pre-shampoo treatments like L’Oreal, Garnier, Redken, OGX, etc. These treatments were all formulated to be used before shampoo, so using the shampoo after will not affect their efficacy. If you’re currently using these treatments before or after shampoo and you like your results, feel free to skip this step and stick with what you’re doing! But for who have left comments wondering if there is a way to fix this… give this a try and let me know if that helps 😊 #washday #hairhack #hairhacks #haircareroutine

Stop shampooing your hair ends.🚫 Shampoo is for the scalp — not the lengths. Washing the ends every time strips the oils they need and makes them dry and fragile. Let the foam cleanse them gently instead. #HairCareTips #healthyhair #dryhair #damagedhair #hairroutine

If your hair gets greasy fast... check your routine: • You’re only shampooing once (you might need two) • You’re skipping a clarifying shampoo • Conditioner is going too close to your scalp • You rely on dry shampoo more than actual washing • You rush your wash + don’t fully rinse • Your pillowcase isn’t washed often • Your hairbrush needs a deep clean • You touch your hair constantly • You have hard water buildup • Stress/hormones are increasing oil production It’s usually not just one thing - it’s a few habits adding up. 🌸 Solution: Don’t overwash – 2–3 times a week is enough • Use a lightweight, sulfate-free shampoo • Avoid conditioner on your scalp (mid-lengths only!) • Stop touching your hair again & again • Clean your combs + pillowcases regularly • Oil your scalp lightly, not excessively Healthy scalp = less oil = fresher hair 💁♀️ Save this & fix your routine before your next wash day ✔️ . #longhair #greasyhair #oilyhair #hairlove haircare

I’m 17 months postpartum and here are 5 proven things, that actually work!! 1. Taking care of your scalp comes first. This is non negotiable. If your scalp is clogged, dry, or irritated, your hair isn’t going to grow the way it should. This means: • double shampooing instead of rushing through wash day • focusing shampoo on my scalp, not my hair • using a thickening serum to help support and stimulate my follicles 2. Bood flow. Your hair needs oxygen and nutrients to grow. • regular scalp massages (even just a few minutes) • brushing in a way that actually distributes oils and stimulates the scalp • not neglecting areas like crown and nape where buildup happens most 3. What you eat shows up in your hair (when I wasn’t eating enough, sick, or missing key nutrients, my hair showed it) so I focused on: • getting enough protein • staying consistent with iron-rich foods • not neglecting healthy fats and overall nutrition 4. Stress, sleep, hormones... it all plays a role. • prioritizing sleep when I could • managing stress instead of constantly running on empty • paying attention to how my body felt overall 5. You can grow your hair... and still not see length. Change how you are handling your hair daily. • detangling slowly from the ends up instead of pulling through knots • using hair ties and clips that don’t snag or rip my hair • being extra gentle when my hair was wet • not wearing tight slick buns or ponytails every day • always using a heat protectant For me, this is also where adding a hair oil helped keep my scalp nourished and balanced Comment or DM me DUO to get my hair oil + thickening serum 55% off 🦋 Follow for more hair growth tips that actually work 💖 #motherhood #thickhair #hairtransformation #healthyhair #momhair

my “luck” 💛👇🏻 • washing my hair as often as it needs (not forcing it to wait) • always double shampooing • focusing shampoo only on scalp • never being rough with my hair • using gentle brushes only • leave-ins every single wash • oil/serum on my ends daily • scalp massage every day • silk pillowcase + bonnet at night • heat protection every single time just consistency no one sees 🤍✨ #naturalblonde #haircareroutine #hairgoals #healthyhair #haircaretips
