Instagram just rolled out a new location-sharing option for friends and followers. The tool, which is entirely opt-in, allows users to share their last active location with selected contacts. By default, it’s turned off, and users have full control over how and when their location is shared. For example, users can choose to share their location with all friends, just Close Friends, specific accounts, or no one at all.
