E’ il ritratto dei consumatori italiani tratteggiato nell’ultima edizione di “The State of Shopping”, il report che analizza abitudini e comportamenti d’acquisto in 8 Paesi europei, realizzato dalla tech company Shopfully. Nonostante l’andamento stabile dell’inflazione - che secondo le indicazioni di Istat ad aprile ha registrato, nel confronto con marzo, un aumento dello 0,1% – gli italiani, quando fanno la spesa, badano soprattutto al prezzo. Di fatto, in Europa, sono i più attenti alle promozioni: il 98% considera sconti e offerte un elemento decisivo di scelta, superando spagnoli (97%) e francesi (95%). All’origine di questo comportamento vi sono due elementi: da un lato conta l’oggettiva contrazione del potere di acquisto avvenuta negli ultimi anni, dall’altro lato pesa il timore che, nell’immediato futuro, la situazione economica possa peggiorare.
