‎Shrek, created by DreamWorks Animation in their 2001 film *Shrek*, is an ogre who lives alone in a swamp, far removed from a world that judged him without ever really getting to know him. Played by Mike Myers, Shrek was created as a character opposite of a traditional fairy tale hero.
