ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ। ਉੱਥੇ ਭਾਈ ਲਾਲੋ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਬੰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਲਿਕ ਭਾਗੋ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਧਨ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਮਲਿਕ ਭਾਗੋ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਲਈ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਭਾਈ ਲਾਲੋ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਸਾਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣ ਗਏ। ਮਲਿਕ ਭਾਗੋ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਮਹਿੰਗੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗਰੀਬ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਗਏ?” ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਈ ਲਾਲੋ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਲਿਕ ਭਾਗੋ ਦਾ ਪਕਵਾਨ ਫੜਿਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਲਾਲੋ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੁੱਧ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਿਕ ਭਾਗੋ ਦੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਖੂਨ ਟਪਕਿਆ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਮਾਇਆ ਧਨ ਪਾਪ ਹੈ #sikhs #punjab #waheguruji🙏 #sikhkatha #gurunanakdevji
