This is why people move to Simcoe County……and quietly regret it 6 months later. 🏡 A lot of people move here because they hear it’s more affordable, quieter, and a better lifestyle than the city. But then they choose a town that doesn’t actually fit their day-to-day life. They like the idea of living in Simcoe County… …but they don’t realize how different places like Barrie, Alliston, Innisfill, Tottenham, Beeton, Collingwood, or Wasaga Beach actually feel. Some people picture weekends by the water in Barrie, quiet small-town charm in Tottenham or Beeton, or raising a family in Alliston. ☀️ But they end up somewhere where they’re driving everywhere, commuting feels longer than expected, and living here doesn’t quite feel the way they imagined. They assume Simcoe County is one thing. In reality, every town here offers a completely different lifestyle. I’ve seen it happen more times than I can count. 👇 The people who struggle usually: • They Pick a town based on price alone • Choose a home without thinking about their commute or daily routine • Don’t look into schools, amenities, or what the area is like in winter ❄️ Or they move into a random subdivision thinking that’s the “Simcoe County experience” and end up feeling disconnected from everything. The people who actually love living here do the opposite. They choose a neighbourhood based on lifestyle, not just the listing price. They think about: • parks and trails • commute times • walkability • schools • and their long-term plans Because living in Simcoe County isn’t just about the house or price. It’s about choosing the right community for your life. Simcoe County doesn’t disappoint people. Bad planning does. 📲 If you’re thinking about moving to Simcoe County and want to make the right move the first time, send me a DM with “BUY” and I’ll walk you through the areas that might actually fit your lifestyle. 🙋🏻‍♀️Raj Malhi | REALTOR 📲 647-400-1008 💌 [email protected] #simcoecountyontariorealtor #realestateagent #realestate

You have to check this out!!👇🏼 Simcoe County is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in southern ON. We spent a weekend exploring and came home with a pile of memories - and an itinerary we want to share with you so you can make your own mems in Simcoe County ☺️🚗🌊 This is a 2-part series (too many fun things to fit in one video!!) so be sure to follow @attemas.outdoors and keep your eye out for part 2 tomorrow! Comment TRIP to download the entire weekend itinerary!! DAY 1 FUN: 1️⃣ breakfast in Creemore at @creemore_bakery - also explore the historic log cabin, brewery and farmers market if you’re around on a Saturday! 2️⃣ hike Nottawasaga Bluffs Loop Trail @nottawasagaca - sooooo pretty!!! The bluffs are awesome, but dont miss the keyhole side trail where you can walk between the bluffs. 3️⃣ lunch in Stayner at @kitchnsavvy - three words: best shawarma EVER. Kitch’n Savvy is a family owned small business and it was so awesome to hear their startup story and taste the food they love to make! 4️⃣ beach day in @wasagabeachpp - we HIGHLY recommend parking and using the beach at Wasaga Beach provincial park. It was much less crowded to find a spot to park and lay our towel than the main beach area and was still super close to the food trucks and shops! We found lots to do there between walking trails, beach and local eats even amidst the construction. 5️⃣ ice cream from @grandmasbeachtreats - please do yourself a favour and experience the insane servings and locally made ice cream! 6️⃣ hike the Schooner Town Trail - follow the bright green markers to make it from the trailhead at Sunset Crescent to the Oxbow Sand Dunes. Another “how is this Ontario?!” moment for us! 7️⃣ dinner in Collingwood at @bellopizzacollingwood - when we asked locals which restaurant they recommend in downtown collingwood, tons of people said Bello’s… and now I know why 🍕🤤 this is a MUST try if you are a pizza lover like us!! The thing we loved most about this day was being reminded of how awesome Ontario really is. SAVE this reel so you have an itinerary for your future trip to Simcoe County! #experiencesimcoecounty #discoveron

I have this conversation almost daily with families moving to Tottenham from Bolton and Woodbridge (me having been one of them!) Here’s why people are happy to trade in Highway 50 trucks or Highway 7 traffic for Tottenham trains👇 More space. More affordability. A community where people easily make friends. A place where kids can just be kids. And the big one… You’re still close to family. Close enough for weeknight visits, last-minute plans, and not feeling like you moved “too far away.” It’s not perfect, but for a lot of families, it just makes sense. If you’re torn between Tottenham, Beeton, and Alliston, I’ll give you the honest breakdown of each (not the sugar-coated version). Comment “SIMCOE” or send me a message and I’ll help you figure out what actually fits your lifestyle 👀 @vanessasellingsimcoe - moving from Woodbridge to Tottenham, moving from Bolton Ontario, Simcoe County real estate, family friendly towns Ontario, GTA to Simcoe County, small town living Ontario, Ontario real estate agent, homes near Toronto affordable, best towns for families Ontario
