The key to detecting skin cancer early is to look for change, and act on it‼️They come in many different forms. Some look harmless and merge into your natural skin tone, whereas some look angry, red and crusty. - Is it something you’ve had for years, but now it’s growing? - is it new? - is it an ugly duckling (so nothing like anything else on your skin? - does it itch? - does it appear, then disappear? - does it bleed? - does it have irregular borders (even a tiny bit on one side?) - is it a sore that goes away then returns? - is it a random area of pigmentation on the palms, soles of your feet or nail? - is it a firm nodule (white, pink, purple, skin coloured)? If the answer to any of these is yes, don’t delay in seeing your GP or dermatologist.
