Wrapping up for today. Pretty long day. After work I finally had some time to start setting things up for my side projects on my new computer. Cloned repos, set up environments and all that. Ran into an Android emulator issue and an npm version problem, but got both fixed. Now everything is ready, so hopefully tomorrow I can focus more on building. here’s how i learned how to code 👩🏻‍💻👐🏼 even though this process can really be applied to learning anything new. at the start of the semester, i told myself i wanted to at least understand basic programming. you don’t need to know coding in biotech but i thought it’d be a useful skill to have to expand with. i’m still a beginner but now i can actually read code (on a basic level), use functions, and write simple programs. with the help of ai, there’s so much potential for coding beyond that. the best day to start was yesterday so start now ✨
