Audio Industry News Ep86 🎧 This episode goes out to the sound designers! First up, the sound effects app Soundly has undergone a huge update. They’ve added lots of new features like new sounds, more voices for voice designer, and an EQ. Also a spectrogram! UVI released the newest version of Xtreme FX. The plugin is a great tool for foley, sound design, audio post, and even music production as it allows you to manipulate sounds using midi and features like the x/y axis and other settings. I am currently studying sound implementation in game engines, particularly sound in Unity, and I decided that sharing my progress would be a good idea for two reasons: - It might be useful for those who are also just starting their journey in game audio. - It will help me structure the knowledge I’m gaining.
