people have been asking me where I buy stuff for my projects, so here’s a few of my favs <3 not sponsored by any of these brands (though I wish I was lol) 🌸 @adafruit: founded by a woman, unique products, detailed tutorials. They build a lot of their own boards, all of which come with super detailed instructions. Their CircuitPython tutorials and libraries are lifesavers too. 🌸 @sparkfun : absolutely iconic for their breakout boards! For those that don’t know, breakout boards are basically a computer chip (could be a temperature sensor, IMU etc) placed on a PCB in a way that makes it easy for you to access its pins/connectors. I love spark fun for theirs, but they also have tons kits, tools, and instructions like Adafruit. 🌸 @digikey: they have everything. I use them in industry/at work as well as for personal/school projects. Digikey has never failed me! That being said, because it’s also for professionals, it can be a lot for a beginner when it comes to finding certain components. Let me know some of your favourite electronic stores in the comments!
