For the “feral gallop” Beast-run sequence, the crew built a high-line rig with counterweights at both ends to allow the performer to maintain forward momentum, stride, and body position while simulating that wild run. During tight schedule moments, McAvoy’s stunt double handled particularly risky or strenuous bits, but McAvoy contributed significantly to the character’s physicality.
