☀️ Last Minute Spring Break Trip Ideas ⤵️ I have so many great spring break suggestions, but some destinations (like the Florida Keys or Puerto Rico) you need to book in advance - otherwise availability is gone or prices skyrocket! Here’s where I would book a last-minute spring break trip if I didn’t already have something planned: 1. Phoenix, AZ - the weather is warm, there are spring training games for baseball, and there are plenty of options at every price point for hotels. Lots of outdoor and hiking options for active families, as well as resorts for families that want to relax. 2. Savannah, GA - I feel like hotel prices in Savannah are kind of expensive year-round, especially if you want to stay near city center. BUT when we were there in November I saw so many young families walking around the historic district. It’s walkable, there are so many great restaurants, and the history there is incredible. Plus you could easily add on places like Tybee Island, Charleston, Hilton Head, or Amelia Island. 3. Las Vegas, NV - my favorite budget-friendly spring break, and I share about it every year now! We booked an Airbnb right off the strip and used Vegas as a home base to visit Seven Magic Mountains, Valley of Fire State Park, Red Rock Canyon, and even an overnight trip to Death Valley NP. We barely spent any time in Vegas itself! 4. Washington DC - Like Savannah, the accommodations here aren’t cheap, but if you book a Hyatt Place on points or stay outside of city center, you can save a bit in that department. I recommend DC for this time of year because depending on timing of your break you may see the cherry blossoms, plus memorials, monuments, and museums are free to visit! 5. Fort Myers - Fort Myers, Sanibel, and Captiva still manage to feel untouched and wild while still having great resorts for families. We just stayed at Pink Shell Resort in Fort Myers and loved all of the activities they offer and ways to connect with nature!
