Stacking moss poles often creates one problem: instability. The Anchor System connects the pole directly to the pot structure, creating a stable setup that grows with your plant. No leaning. No collapsing poles. ✔ stable tall setups ✔ stronger vertical growth ✔ clean integrated system Because climbing plants need solid foundations. #Plantscraper #mosspole #plantlover #plantsofinstagram #monstera

When it comes to making Moss Poles, I like to keep it simple using just three materials from @bunnings .You can shop online or in store #bunningsinspo 🪴Coated wire mesh - the Jacks Garden Mesh is 90cm tall with a 12mm grid and a 1 mm gauge. My Poles are 15 squares wide  🪴New Zealand Sphagnum Moss 🪴Cable ties . Some top tips: 🪴I use approx. 90g of dried moss for each Moss Pole 🪴I don’t fill the bottom of the pole with Moss as this will be inside the pot later on 🪴I flip the cable ties towards the inside of the pole to avoid future leaf damage 🪴Treat the Moss pole like you’d treat any other potting medium: I water the pole & provide nutrients . #houseplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #mosspole

I don’t like moss poles 🤷🏾‍♀️ 🪴Comment “TRELLIS” and I can send you a link to what I used! 📲 —— Truth be told, I NEVER liked moss poles. In my opinion they require too much care. Care that I am just not in the place to provide. PLUS, they don’t really mesh well with my decor. Do you like moss poles? @treleaf_ #plantmom #plantlover #plantsmakepeoplehappy #mosspole

I just can’t help myself… 🥲 Also, friendly reminder that plants established in moss do not need soil to grow! This will now be my fourth plant that is growing on just a moss pole. It’s amazing not having to worry about soil and only having to worry about the moss! 😂 What about you? Are you team moss pole or are they just too much work? #rareplants #houseplants #pothos #mosspole #plantsofinstagram

When I first discovered moss poles, I went all in and put every aroid on them 🤣 I loved it at first, everything was climbing beautifully and the leaves were getting bigger. But as the plants matured, they started getting top heavy. The poles bent, some nearly toppled, and I eventually had to support the moss pole itself 😅 Watering sounded easy, but in reality you have to properly soak the moss or the water just runs off, and over time it started to feel like more work than I expected. That’s when I realized, in nature, these plants don’t grow on moss. They climb whatever they can grip onto: tree trunks, bark, walls, even rocks. So I tried something different. I used old wooden planks, floorboards, old balusters from my deck, nothing fancy. my golden pothos is thriving. It’s climbing, gripping naturally, and sizing up with every new leaf, no bending, no extra support, and pretty much zero maintenance. My take? Moss poles definitely work, but they’re not the only way to get big, beautiful leaves. #mosspoles #stakes #woodenplanksupport #climbingaroids #plantcare

Want bigger leaves? Give your plant a moss pole!🌿 Climbing plants like Monstera, Pothos, and Philodendron naturally grow up trees in the wild. Without support, they usually stay smaller and trail instead of climbing.👀 A moss pole mimics a tree trunk and gives the plant something to climb. When it can grow upward, something amazing happens: ✨ The plant produces larger, more mature leaves ✨ Aerial roots can anchor into the moist moss ✨ Growth becomes stronger and more natural In short: a moss pole helps your climbing plants reach their full potential. 🌱 For this plant, I also chose to pot it in a self-watering pot with mineral substrate to support healthy root growth and consistent moisture.🙌🏼 AD | Use code BOTANIKBUDDIES for 10% off @plantscraper 🌿✨ #plantcare #planttips #monstera #mosspole #plantparenthood
