presents a photo by @joshwilliamsvisuals N I G H T S C A P E R • Award to Joshua R Williams Star trails - timelapse QUOTING Joshua: To flat-earthers, the stars are moving, but in reality the stars are static and earth is rotating at 15° per hour around it’s axis, which you can see here by the concentric circles forming in the upper left side. TECHNIQUE & EXIF: This timelapse was captured over 5.5 hours of shooting, 590 photos, roughly 30 second exposure time for each photo with an interval of 32-33 seconds using a 14mm lens at f/2.8. Editing in After Effects allowed me to overlap frames to create the comet tail effect you see here, which helps demonstrate earth’s rotation along its axis.
