Our underground stacks are home to rare and exquisite books, manuscripts, pictures, objects, paintings, and more. If the collection was laid out end to end, it would be 80 kilometres long, stretching from Macquarie Street to Wollongong. Happy weekend everyone 👋🏼 It may be a little grey but it is NOT raining and today is the Jericho Street fair! So if you’re in Oxford, make your way over to Jericho (the end near the canal side), as the streets will be filled with stalls and the Bookbinders will have live music outside all day! 🎶 It’s a really lovely event! 😊 Im sadly in the library as I’ve got to send the first half of my chapter to my supervisor on Monday (lolololol - it’s going to be a midnight submission I think 😂) but I’m going to try and sneak down if I can!!!
