Resident Evil – Code: Veronica – The True Next Chapter After Resident Evil 2 Released in 2000 for the Sega Dreamcast, Resident Evil – Code: Veronica was a major step forward for the survival horror series. For many fans, it felt like the true continuation of the story from Resident Evil 2. The Story The game follows Claire Redfield as she continues her search for her brother, Chris Redfield. After being captured by Umbrella, Claire is imprisoned on Rockfort Island — a remote facility overrun by the T-virus.
