Some study methods for you guys💓 sorry I haven’t been posting much, doing my usual social media detox before exam starts! If you struggle with focusing or finding motivation just before exams, I recommend doing a full day or week of social media detox, just don’t use your phone, focus on other stuff like hobbies if you don’t want to study, although I recommend studying every day even if its for a few minutes. Anyways! I will be back posting more frequently starting next week. How is your exam preparation going?

Here are study methods that just work every time. Let me know what you think! For more tips don’t forget to follow @marks.vds #study #studygram #studying #studytime

Read caption! Here are some easy methods to study less but get better grades through memory and retention. Here’s how they work: Gum Method 🍬 This memory hack feels too easy to work… but it does. Chew the same gum while you study and again during your exam. Your brain links the flavor to the info you learned — triggering recall when you need it most. It’s weirdly effective. Try it. Scribble Method ✍️ Struggle to focus? Do this while reading. It’s called the scribble method — and it works. When you’re losing focus, just start drawing random shapes or circles on a page. The motion activates your brain and locks in what you’re reading. Perfect for long study sessions. Clench Method ✊ Your body remembers more than you think. The clench method is a brain hack that links physical movement to memory. Lightly clench your fist while learning something important. Then do the same when trying to recall it later. Your brain makes the connection. Follow @samhalleberg for more tips and recommendations 🤍 #studygram #studytips #studyhacks #studentlife

Feeling like your syllabus is way too much and time is way too less? 😩Don’t worry, this plan works for every student, no matter what you’re studying! 📚 1. START WITH A PLAN, NOT PANIC 🧭 • Write down all topics. Mark them as: 🔴 Must-study 🟡 Should-study 🟢 Quick-revise • Focus on what truly matters first. 2. USE THE 45–15 RULE ⏰ • Study 45 mins, then take a 15 min break (stretch, hydrate, walk). • This keeps your focus sharp and avoids burnout. 3. ACTIVE RECALL 🧠 • Study → Close book → Recall what you learned aloud. • If you forget → recheck → recall again. This cements memory fast. 4. FEYNMAN METHOD 📖 • Teach the topic as if you’re explaining to a 10-year-old. • If you can’t explain simply → re-learn that part. 5. MINI NOTES MAGIC ✨ • Write only keywords, dates, formulas, or definitions on one sheet. • These become your last-day revision lifesavers! 6. POMODORO HACK🍅 • 25 mins full focus + 5 min break × 4 rounds → 30-min longer break. • Perfect for when you’re struggling to sit for long hours. 7. SLEEP + REVISION COMBO🌙 • Before bed, revise what you learned in 5 minutes. • Sleep boosts memory, this literally doubles retention! 8. BLUR METHOD 📖 • Read → Close → Recall → Check → Repeat • Each time, recall more detail. • This method forces your brain to actively remember instead of glazing over text. 9. PAST PAPERS = SECRET WEAPON📑 • 50% of exam prep = understanding question patterns. • Practice last 5 years’ papers • Highlight repeated topics, and time yourself to build exam stamina 10. SMART REVISION STRATEGY 🌙 • End your day with a 10-min recall session • Next morning, quickly review what you did yesterday — daily repetition = long-term memory. You don’t need 10 perfect study hours ✨ You just need 5 focused ones done right✨ 📌For Study Schedule read pinned comment 📌 #studytips #studygram #exam #growthmindset #study #short #reels #trending #explore #fyp

If you struggle with effective studying, it’s not your fault. It most likely means you were not taught the right approach to studying. Here’s the difference between each student: ❌ 2.5 GPA: Brute-force memorization overloads your brain, so information never moves into long-term memory. This student will recognize concepts, but they won’t be able to apply them on the exam. ⚠️ 3.7 GPA: This student’s approach works better because they’re identifying weaknesses and practicing retrieval. BUT most students still mix reviewing with learning, which caps consistency. ✅ 4.0 GPA: The Cognitive Load strategy works because learning sticks when your brain isn’t overwhelmed. Here’s how to follow it: ———————— Day 7 – Map the test 🗺️ List every topic that could be tested and label each as weak, medium, or strong. Day 6 – Micro-recall 🧠 Quiz yourself on definitions, formulas, and core ideas using look-cover-say. Day 5 – Teach-back 🎙️ Explain each topic out loud in simple language until it makes sense without notes. Day 4 – Guided practice 🧩 Solve easy-to-medium problems with notes while explaining why each step works. Day 3 – Mixed practice 🔀 Practice mixed topics without notes to force retrieval and concept switching. Day 2 – Exam simulation ⏱️ Take a timed, no-notes practice set and immediately review every mistake. Day 1 – Lock-in & sleep 😴 Review only mistakes, stop studying by 7PM, and get a full eight hours of sleep. ———————— Comment STUDY and I’ll send my top study systems that helped me ace my Harvard classes 📚 #UltimateIvyLeagueGuide #UltimateMentor #UILG

Okay first… I didn’t suddenly become a topper overnight 😌 I was just tired of staring at the same book for 3 hours and still feeling guilty. So I changed the way I study. Instead of reading everything line by line like a “perfect student” 🥲 I started reading like a “smart student” 🧠✨ I gave each chapter 10 minutes ⏱️ Timer on. Phone away. Airplane mode. No excuses. 🚫📱 In those 10 minutes I only: Read headings 📝 Understood the main idea 💡 Checked diagrams & flowcharts 📊 Noticed important terms ⭐ Looked at PYQs 👀 That’s it. No over-highlighting 🎨 No re-reading the same line 5 times 😭 No trying to be perfect. After 10 minutes, I closed the book and asked myself: “Okay… what was this chapter actually about?” 🤔 If I could explain it in simple words — done ✅ If not — 2-minute quick revision 🔁 And then I moved on. Here’s the honest truth 💭 You can’t memorize 5 chapters in one hour. But you can: ✔ Remove the fear ✔ Understand the basics ✔ Build a strong base for revision And sometimes… that’s the real win 🥹✨ Because once fear is gone, studying feels lighter. And lighter study = consistent study 💛📚 #StudyTips #motivation #consistentcy #explore #fyp

Ace ALL your exams with these study hacks ✅🧠📚🏆 - 1️⃣ Timed Practice - do practice exams under full exam conditions (eg without notes, complete silence, reading time if applicable and no breaks). This is one of the BEST study methods to prepare for exams in the shortest amount of time as you’ll learn proper exam technique and how to APPLY information rather than just rote learn ⏳ . 2️⃣ Blurting - write down everything you can remember about the topic from memory. Compare what you have just blurted to your notes, revise the information you missed, and repeat until you remember everything 📣 . 3️⃣ Traffic Light Method - print out a copy of your syllabus/learning guide and through each dot point & colour code them based on your understanding: 🔴 Red - what you have NO idea about 🟠 Orange - what you are OK with, but need more work on 🟢 Green - what you know WELL, and don’t need to revise further Focus on the Red topics first, then the Orange topics, until you can make them ALL green!! 🚦 - NOTE: It’s always better to start revising in advance so you don’t need to cram, but sometimes this can’t be helped, so please only use this as the exception, not the rule!! 🙏🏽 - #studyhack #studyhacks #examseason #examhacks #studygram #studentlife #studymotivation #studyspo #studyspiration #examready #examtips #exams #students #studentproblems #topgrades #goodgrades #topstudent
