Coffee table books are a must have when it comes to decorating 🤌🏼 Books are something I am constantly reaching for and switching up. There are so many ways to style them so I wanted to share how I style them in my home! Leaned: This gives your space a lived in feel which is something I strive for in my home. The imperfect placement makes it look like you read the book. I’ve styled them like this for a couple years now and its always my go to! Opened: An open book can make your space feel very inviting. I have an opened book on my guest bed and it makes you want to jump in bed and read the book. I also like to place a magnifying glass on top, to add to the lived in feel. On a bench or stool: Need another layering piece? Books are the way to go. It helps ground whatever you want to place on top. You can add a vase and maybe even some greenery. As a tray: The most common way we see coffee table books being styled is as a tray. Sometimes a decor piece looks awkward or too lonely when placed on its own. Place the piece on top of a book and boom, it instantly elevates that decor piece. It makes it look intentional and it also gives it some height. Displayed: I love doing this in my kitchen! Who else doesnt open their aesthetic cookbooks? If you need something to fill the space in between two decorative items, display some books! It adds height and some visual interest. You can also display them on a cookbook stand! I always get asked where I purchase my books and I usually always purchase them from Homegoods or Amazon. They have the best prices! I highly recommend buying them over time, I have collected mine over the past four years!
