Let me know what do you want to know more about skiing in Niseko What a ski day in Niseko, Japan looks like 🇯🇵🏂 starts with a big breakfast, then we bundle up and head to the hotel storage to grab all our gear. From there, straight the lift line 😅 About 20 minutes later we’re finally on the lift, then transfer to another one… which we realize is basically just a chair with no real protection?? Just you, the mountain, and trust 😂 Chasing powder and hitting the trees We ride for about 2 hours, then I have lessons. Quick reset, get ready again, a little moment to look cute of course ✨ and back out for another 3 hours of riding. Chet these funny little hats for snowboarders at the lifts — such a vibe. Then suddenly we’re in a full snowstorm, somehow end up on a completely different side of the mountain, find a free shuttle, Two hours later I finally meet Daniil 🙌
Dinner with ramen , recovery in the onsen ♨️ and straight to sleep. 10/10 day — tired, frozen, happy.

Well that went a lot better than I thought 👇🏼 before we went on our Japan trip, a lot of people warned us that we were going to have insane wait times on the gondolas and lifts in Niseko So going into our resort day after it had dumped over 30+ inches in the past 3 days I was expecting the absolute worst But what I didn’t realize is that Niseko United is actually 4 ski resorts that share ONE mountain. It is literally HUGE and has so many lifts and terrain so once we got past the initial gondola from the town we literally didn’t wait in a single line (other than the famous pizza box lift). (You can buy an “all mountain pass” to use all 4 resorts in one day!) Plus they have a ton of “off piste terrain” which is any area of a mountain outside of marked, groomed, and patrolled ski trails. so while a bunch of people stick to groomers, there was always plenty of fun untouched snow in the side country!! ***skiing outside of ski resort boundaries requires proper avalanche education, gear (beacon, shovel, probe), and the knowledge to use it. Conditions can change fast, and you should never head into uncontrolled terrain without the right training and preparation. Overall it ended up being such a fun day and nothing like the crazy lines and long wait times I had seen/been warned of!! #skijapan #niseko #nisekounited #nisekojapan #skitrip
