Iconic San Diego Sunset Spot! 🌅 📍 Sunset Cliffs | Point Loma, CA A must visit spot for any traveler or local, Sunset Cliffs is one of San Diego’s most iconic beaches for a reason. 😎 Located in between Ocean Beach and the Point Loma Ecological Reserve, this 68 acre coastal park is known for its sharp bluffs, sea caves, amazing wildlife, and of course a great sunset spot. ☀️ Parking is tough, but not impossible. There are two large lots one at Ladera St and one at a Lomaland Drive. There is very limited parking available on Sunset Cliffs Blvd as well. 🚗 This cliff top trail is 1.4 miles long and runs along Sunset Cliffs Blvd. It makes a great walk although it can be very busy.🥾 The famous Sunset Cliffs Cave is located near Monaco Street, this video was filmed exclusively near the Ladera Avenue Parking lot. 😊

If you’re looking for an epic thrill check out this cliff jump located at Sunset Cliffs. It’s about 25 foot high and is definitely a rush. Just be really careful jumping at low tide and be mindful climbing back up to the left of the cliffs because it’s very slippery. Highly recommend wearing water shoes for some grip on the rocks. When you jump off and swim to the right of the cliffs there’s this really cool hidden cave with stairs that was used to smuggle in rum during the prohibition days.
