Sunset at Żurrieq Cliffs — Malta’s Quiet Magic There’s something unforgettable about watching the sun melt into the sea from the Żurrieq cliffs. The wind softens, the sky turns into layers of gold and rose, and the whole coastline feels like it’s holding its breath. It’s one of those moments where you just sit still, listen to the waves below, and let the colours wrap around you. If you’re chasing peaceful corners of Malta, this is where the island shows its gentlest side. 🌅 Sunset_Sunrise_Saturdays #ZurrieqCliffs #VisitMalta #MaltaSunsets #HiddenGemsMalta #IslandMagic

📍 Dingli Cliffs – One of the Best Sunset Spot in Malta 🌅 Dingli Cliffs is the highest point in Malta (around 253m above sea level) and one of the most famous places to watch the sunset over the Mediterranean Sea. The view is completely open, facing west — which makes it one of the BEST sunset locations on the island. 🕰 Best time to visit: Arrive 30–40 minutes before sunset to enjoy golden hour. In summer, sunset is usually between 7:45PM–8:15PM. In winter, around 4:45PM–5:30PM. 🚗 How to get there: • 30 minutes by car from Valletta • Free street parking available near St. Mary Magdalene Chapel • Bus routes 52, 56 or 201 stop in Dingli (short walk to the cliffs) 💡 Helpful tips: • It can be very windy — bring a light jacket • Wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk along the cliff paths • No entrance fee — completely free access • Limited shops nearby, so bring water If you’re visiting Malta and want an easy, accessible, and iconic sunset view — Dingli Cliffs is a must. One of Europe’s most surprising islands 😍 @visitmalta Don’t miss these spots in Malta👇 🌅 Sunset at Dingli Cliffs One of the best sunset spots on the island. Dramatic cliffs, endless sea, unreal light. (You find this natural rock window at „Dingli View“ via Google Maps) 🛶 Kayak tour along the coast A must-do. From Gnejna Bay you can kayak to hidden bays and sea caves only accessible from the water - like the Ta’ Marija Cave with insanely blue water. 🏛 Valletta Wander among the historic streets of Malta‘s capital with colorful balconies, cafés and viewpoints. Compact, walkable, full of charm. 🏰 Mdina The silent city with over 4000 years of history. Timeless, calm and best explored early morning or late afternoon. ⚓️ Fort St. Angelo Underrated viewpoint with a beautiful Valletta skyline from across the harbor. 🩵 Blue Grotto Visit on a sunny day for the best colors - the water really looks unreal & you can even attend a boat tour. 🎬 Popeye Village Colorful film set turned village by the sea. Mainly for families with children but surprisingly scenic (especially when you overlook it from the view point) 🐟 Marsaxlokk fishing village Traditional luzzu boats, relaxed harbor vibes and a great spot for lunch by the water - one of my favorite spots on the island 🗺️ Tip: Rent a car to make the most of your time or use the busses which bring you almost everywhere in Malta. #malta #exploremore #visitmalta #europe #summer hidden gem in Europe, travel Malta, Malta best sights & places to visit, where to travel to in Europe, adventure, nature & culture travel
