Setiap mata punya 6 otot yang bekerja seperti tali penarik, menggerakkan bola mata ke berbagai arah. Kalau salah satu otot ini terlalu kuat, terlalu lemah, atau posisinya nggak seimbang, arah pandang mata bisa jadi melenceng. 🛠️ Operasinya ngapain? Dokter bedah mata akan: Mengendurkan (recession) otot yang terlalu kuat Memendekkan (resection) otot yang terlalu lemah Atau memindahkan posisi otot beberapa milimeter Semua dilakukan dengan presisi tingkat milimeter. Dan yang sering bikin orang kaget: 👉 bola mata TIDAK dibuka. Operasi hanya bekerja di permukaan, pada otot-otot di luar bola mata. ⏱️ Prosedurnya relatif cepat, biasanya kurang dari 1 jam per mata. 😌 Pemulihan umumnya lancar, dengan kemerahan atau rasa tidak nyaman ringan selama beberapa hari hingga minggu. Banyak pasien bisa kembali beraktivitas normal cukup cepat (sesuai anjuran dokter tentunya). Tapi dampaknya nggak cuma soal arah pandang.
