ASICS SUPERBLAST 2 I’m extremely late to the party but I got these on a discount as the superblasts 3’s are coming soon. First impressions. Im a big fan! They completely live up to the hype. ✔️ supportive ✔️ really comfortable fit ✔️ versatile ✔️ good energy return What I would use them for? I’ll definitely be using these shoes for all my upcoming long runs. And I’ll probably throw them into my tempo run shoe rotation. I know some people love using them as their easy run shoe but they’re a tad firm for me. Price point: £180-200 ish Definitely quite an expensive shoe! Especially compared to the Novablasts they’re nearly double the price. It’s definitely a premium, non plated trainer. But if you want a versatile, all in one trainer these could be the one! Well done @asicsrunning you’ve done it again.

The next phase of rehab is HERE! Oh no, I accidentally dropped my lip balm 😉 Taking the new ASICS superblasts 3s out for a spin. I am such a big fan of the 2s so when they reached the end of their life I guess I had to try out the newest version. Ran an easy 15km and very similar feel to the twos but slightly more responsive and more cushioning. I also suffer terribly from blisters (usually on my heels and arches of my feet) but fingers crossed, even with very long runs and speed sessions my feet seem to have escaped the curse. Not sponsored or anything, just a big fan of the Superblasts. So far, I’m also a big fan on the version three’s 👌

New shoes alert ‼️ You already know I’m a longtime @asicscanada Superblast fan, having used them for long runs to prep for my last two marathons. One downside of marathon training = high mileage → fast shoe turnover (especially in winter) 🥲 My Superblasts just hit ~600km, so it’s officially time for a refresh. Anyone tried the Megablast? Did you like them more or less than Superblast? Still deciding 👀
