It’s like being tired times 1000000 🫠 #endometriosis #symptoms #chronicillness #womenshealth

Believe it or not, I didn’t get that burning stomach feeling until after I found out I had gastritis. Before my endoscopy, I was mostly dealing with chest pain and mild acid reflux if I ate something super fatty or acidic… Eventually over a few weeks that mild reflux also came with a burning gnawing pain in my stomach right under my diaphragm. When I went too long without eating, my stomach would hurt even more. All of a sudden foods that once only caused me chest pain were also causing my stomach to burn. #gastritis #acidreflux #bloating #burningstomach #symptoms

‼️Your body doesn’t just “randomly” feel off. Symptoms are signals. Period. There were things I dealt with for YEARS that I convinced myself were just part of life… that I now see in a completely different light after my thyroid cancer diagnosis: • Constant hair shedding, dryness, breakage • Waves of anxiety, depression, and irritability that came on fast • Heart flutters and skipped beats • Weak, brittle nails • Losing my voice every time I got sick My cancer is considered one of the slowest growing… yet my tumor was the size of a ping pong ball. Meaning it didn’t just show up overnight. It had likely been there through pregnancies, postpartum, all of it. That realization will humble you real quick. Because how many things did I dismiss? How many times did I tell myself I was “fine”? How many symptoms did I normalize? Let this be your reminder: You don’t need to wait until something is “bad enough” to take it seriously. If something feels different, off, or not like you… pay attention. Keep track. Speak up. Ask questions. Push for answers. And if someone brushes you off? Find someone else. Because the scariest part for me is thinking about how easily this could have been missed. I’m walking away from this with one mindset: I will never ignore what my body is trying to tell me again. #thyroidcancer #cancersucks #thyroidectomy #fuckcancer #symptoms

Many early signs of heart disease are subtle and often mistaken for everyday discomfort, which is why they are frequently ignored until the condition progresses. Symptoms such as unexplained fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pressure, and even persistent indigestion can be early indicators of reduced blood flow, inflammation, or cardiovascular strain. Research shows that heart disease develops over time through a combination of poor circulation, chronic inflammation, oxidative stress, and lifestyle factors, making early awareness essential for prevention and long-term health. 👉🏼 Follow @mylera_life for more daily insights on natural healing, gut health, and sustainable wellness practices rooted in holistic health and evidence-based nutrition. Understanding how your body communicates is one of the most powerful tools you have to protect your longevity and improve your overall well-being. From a holistic perspective, supporting heart health goes beyond symptom management. Prioritizing anti-inflammatory foods, maintaining stable blood sugar levels, improving gut health, staying physically active, managing stress, and ensuring adequate sleep all play a critical role in cardiovascular function. Nutrient-dense foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, potassium, and antioxidants have been shown to support vascular health, regulate blood pressure, and reduce long-term risk factors associated with heart disease. 💚 Save this post to stay aware of these early warning signs and share it with friends and family who may benefit from recognizing them sooner. Most people don’t realise this, but thyroid issues don’t usually start with loud symptoms. If this sounds familiar, comment “THYROID” - I’ll share the optimal test ranges so you know what to actually look for. They start quietly, with signs that are easy to dismiss or explain away. Feeling colder than others, even when the weather isn’t that bad. A resting heart rate that’s always on the lower side. Cholesterol slowly creeping up despite eating fairly well. Nails becoming thin, brittle, or eyebrows thinning over time. On their own, these don’t feel serious. But together, they often point to reduced thyroid activity at a cellular level, long before reports clearly flag anything. One subtle clue many people miss is body temperature. Basal body temperature reflects how efficiently your metabolism is running. One of the easiest ways to track it is to check your morning temperature right after waking, before getting out of bed, and note it for 3–5 days to see the pattern. • For women, a typical basal temperature is around 96–98°F (35.5–36.6°C). • If it stays consistently below ~97°F, especially along with the signs above, it can indicate hypometabolism, commonly seen in early thyroid dysfunction. That’s why so many people say, “My tests are normal, but I don’t feel normal.” Your body isn’t being dramatic. It’s communicating. #thyroid #autoimmune #biomarkers #signs #symptoms #thyroidysfunction ( Thyroid | Autoimmunity | Signs and symptoms | Nutrition and wellness)

There were symptoms that I missed because of navigating perimenopause. Fatigue- I averaged about five hours of sleep a night. Burning the candle at both ends made it excusable to me that I was exhausted. Irregular appetite- There were times that I could not feel full, but others when one egg would fill me up. Bleeding anomalies- I sometimes only had a week between periods. Tangerine sized clots were pretty consistent especially if I was sick. This made it so that my low red blood count and ferritin levels were generally excused. Dental Issues- I had a root canal that would flare up and give me pain every once in a while. My gums in the back of my mouth would bleed randomly. Thicker waist- My waist kept expanding even though I ate well and exercised. I also assumed I had fibroids. All of the above symptoms I missed, because they are all also symptoms of perimenopause. I didn’t plan on going in to see my doctor for any of these symptoms singularly. But God sent me a friend that noticed these things. If you want to learn more about what I am learning on my journey of navigating menopause and preventing reoccurrence follow me. 🤕😖 Migraines don’t start suddenly — your body gives warning signals hours (sometimes even a day) before the pain begins. Recognising these early signs of migraine can help you take action before it gets worse. 1️⃣ Neck pain or stiffness A constant tightness around your neck and shoulders can be one of the first migraine symptoms. 2️⃣ Numbness or tingling You may feel slight numbness in your face, hands, or arms — often linked to migraine aura. 3️⃣ Light sensitivity Bright lights start feeling uncomfortable even before the headache begins. 4️⃣ Excessive tearing Watery eyes or irritation can be an early sign your migraine is building up. 5️⃣ Fatigue and exhaustion Sudden low energy, even without doing much, is a common early migraine trigger signal. 6️⃣ Food cravings Craving sweets or specific foods unexpectedly? It could be your body preparing for a migraine episode. 7️⃣ Sound sensitivity Normal sounds may start feeling too loud or irritating. 8️⃣ Puffy or swollen face Some people notice slight facial puffiness before a migraine attack. Unusual symptoms are often early warning signals from the body, not random events. Night sweats may relate to hormonal fluctuations, infections, stress, or medication side effects. Morning heel pain is frequently linked to plantar fasciitis or tight calves and Achilles tendons. Restless legs can be associated with low iron status or poor sleep quality. Persistent joint cracking with stiffness may indicate inflammation or early joint degeneration. Patchy hair loss may reflect autoimmune activity or chronic stress. Weak grip strength is a recognized marker of inflammation, arthritis, nerve dysfunction, and even overall mortality risk. Rapid heartbeat at rest, ridged nails, chronic dry mouth, and enamel erosion can be connected to dehydration, nutrient deficiencies, thyroid imbalance, blood sugar instability, reflux, or anemia. Identifying root causes early supports preventive care and long-term health. 👉🏼 If you want to improve your health, wellness and habits, follow this page.
