Before my first album ever dropped, I landed my first sync with a commercial from @cbc. The brief: “𝘎𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘤𝘢𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘴𝘴.” By day I was selling sweatsuits at Aritzia, by night this cheque was keeping the lights on so I could make music. 🎵 Been quiet lately ‘cause I’ve been upgrading the business side for @nusantararecords — not just chasing streams for coffee money. ☕️There is a better way.
