I used to come home from work, sit down, and game for four hours straight. Sometimes more. Then scroll until midnight. Sleep. Do it again. For about three years that was my entire life outside of work. I wasn’t depressed - or maybe I was and didn’t know it. I just had nothing else pulling me. No project, no goal, no reason to do anything different. Gaming filled every gap and I never questioned it because it felt normal. My partner didn’t give me an ultimatum or anything dramatic. She just asked me one night - honestly, not even angry - “is this what you want your life to look like?” And I didn’t have an answer. That’s what got me. Not that the answer was no. That I didn’t have one at all. I didn’t quit gaming overnight. I just started replacing one hour with building something. A spreadsheet automation at first. Then a small app. Then another. The obsessive part of my brain didn’t change - it just got pointed at something that compounds instead of something that resets every match. Now I build apps, automate systems, create content. Same wiring. Same intensity. Completely different output. The person I was three years ago wouldn’t recognise what I do with my evenings now. The idea that the territory exists outside the person starts to weaken when the same pattern repeats across scales, because a cell does not exist apart from the body that contains it and the body does not exist without the cells that compose it, so both form one process happening together. Humans on Earth follow the same logic since the environment and the people within it operate through exchange and influence that continue in both directions, which makes the boundary between inside and outside more conceptual than real. Extending this view further toward Earth and the universe shows the same relationship, where each level participates in a larger structure while also containing smaller structures within it. This load of laundry just cost me $1,888 You wondering why?? Cause that’s my hourly rate. Take all the money you made in 2025 and divide it by 2,080 and that’s your hourly rate if you work full time. So I know every hour I work I make an average of $1,888. But my kids are sick and I had both of my assistants stay home today. Cause they have young kids too and I don’t want the to pick up what ever we have and take it home. So that means I’m on house duties jobs too, which I have not done in years. I mean 8+ years I have not done laundry. Cause I learned THIS lesson very early on from one of my coaches. While you are doing laundry you are NOT lead generating. Which means, you are NOT making money. You are losing Opportunity Cost! So as I went in there to run a load so my house doesn’t get taken over by laundry I remembered this lesson!! My old coach made me tape this note “very expensive load of laundry” to my washer back in the day. So every time I even thought about it, would remind me to pay someone to help me with the laundry and I stay in my MONEY MAKING lane. So I want to share with you this lessons that’s not going to go well with most of you. But it’s true! I lost $1,888 while I did this load of laundry! I did NOT make more! Nor are you when you do laundry or any other household stuff. Instead sit down and make posts! Make calls! Market your business, so you create opportunity to make money and hire someone to help you with the laundry.
