🎄🎄Table base turned tree stand🎄🎄 I bought a wood table for $5 at a garage sale. I removed the top, exposing a hollow, chunky base…perfect for a Christmas tree. I then stripped the finish back to a raw and rustic state using oven cleaner. Next, I stuffed some packing paper into the hole so that the rod was at the right height to start the branches. I also secured with some zip ties to the bolts that were in place where it previously attached to the table top. The christmas tree was lacking this year, so we jazzed her up with this pedestal table base that has been tucked away in storage for the last few years! I cut it to the height I wanted, drilled a hole in the middle, and stuck her in there! How are we feeling about not removing the ornaments before taking apart the tree? Stressed?
