A floral table runner cake!

Absolutely in love with her I honesty can’t stop looking at her 🥹❤️ she’s romantic, shes rustic, she’s everythiiiiiiiing. What do you think about these table-running style cakes?! Are we all collectively in love??? The process: 1. I baked two full SLABS (not sheets, oops) of cake. Once baked I trimmed the caramelization and edges and then evenly divided the slab width-wise into three equal parts. Repeat for the second slab. 2. With your 6 layers of cake, you essentially want to build two separate cakes and then join them together. This will help immensely with transport and assembly. I built my cakes on separate cake boards which I joined on site, and had the exposed part “join” onto the second cake and finishing the seams on site. 3. Then I decorated! I used florals for this babe but I’ve seen some stunners with fruit, macarons, other accents and more. Sigh. So in love.
