Check out Dr. Morrison’s tips as a scleral lens wearer and specialist. 💫 “What is my scleral lens routine? I’ll add in some extras here that I didn’t film: 1.) In the AM I rinse out my eyes with my sterile saline (Addipak, Lacripure, Scleralfil, Nutrifill) to get out all the debris from sleeping. 2.) I take my lens out of the case, rinse it with saline, give it a rub to get protein off, and rinse it again. 3.) I fill up my lens and insert. 4.) I dump out the old solution from my case into the sink, rinse my case with the cleaning solution (Tangible Clean) and put it out to air dry. At night: 5.) I put saline into my eyes prior to removing my scleral lenses to loosen them and make eyes less dry, thus lenses less “suction-y” 6.) I open my eyes wide and remove lenses. 7.) I wash and rub my lenses with my cleaning solution (Tangible Clean) in the palm of my hand. 8.) I put the lens in its case and fill it up with solution, ready to sanitize overnight!“
